Nor to mention the consider plumes of TCE and other contaminants in groundwater from the military base at Fallon.
We spend a lot of time in the 1990s chasing those plumes trying to identify the source and extent...

By the way, I was working in a whole body counter in Fallon Nevada as part of USPHS and as I recall for the multitude of the population examined I do not recall detecting any I-131 only Cs-137 (world-wide fallout) and K-40 (natural).  

I think the respondant thought I was adding cannon fodder when it was intended as information
