Hey all. Goddard is a big place near DC (USA). Maybe they are
interested in Space
Radiation, Irradiation of Electronic Circuits etc. They do good work in
geology, geophysics,
radio astronomy, space physics, etc. There are a fair number of
astronomical etc. radio
antennas there. There is plenty of housing right in the vicinity of the
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Of course, Washington, DC is nearby, with all the museums, Cherry trees,
good universities, etc.
Wonder if the centrifuge astronaut training device (a place to sit
and go around and around
real fast) is still at Goddard???
Personally, I'd rather do geophysics at Goddard. Don't know much
about health physics
there. There used to be a big USDA pig farm right next to Goddard ----
take note, Franz!!!!
Y'all have a good day!!!!
Regards, Joseph R. (Joe) Preisig, PhD
