Dear Mike,

My colleagues from the Radiation Medicine Centre, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai has secured a US patentNo7,935,366 for a prophylactic mixtureto decorporate, CS, SR and I. Their invention has received patent from Japan and Europe.

They have demonstrated the ability of the compound to decorporate the radionuclides in mouse model. To the best of my knowledge they have not tried for any approval for human application of the mixture from FDA etc. What are the steps to be taken for completing the legal formalities? If any US commercial firm wants to enter in to agreement for exploitation of the invention, I think they may co-operate. I can not  speak for them as I have not explored the possibility. Any advice?

Regards
Parthasarathy

I would feel much more inclined to believe this if they had something
about a double blind study run by an uninvolved party.  As described it
would have been no problem and cost almost no money to do it.  That they
chose not to do such a study speaks to me.

Patricia

This does NOT make any sense to this retired nuclear physicist!
