Good point. Send them to people living in Hawaii, Fiji, Oklahoma, anyplace
without a reactor within 1000 miles.

While I like the idea I can also see the members of the public then claiming
that the natural background radiation that is being measured is coming from
your facility and is "polluting" their homes/towns etc.

Any company or organization that wants to improve the public perception of
nuclear should start a program that rents out dosimeters by the day or the
week. Once they see that radiation is everywhere in varying strengths they
will have that memory for life. What do you think?
