[ RadSafe ] Two great charts about Nuclear ☢ that everyone should share!

I noticed that the list didn't give any numbers for the amount of carbon put in the air per unit of energy produced. I see several reasons for this. The most generous (and a reasonable one) is that there is no meaningful way to quantify most of them. Another is that the author has a distrust of numbers (OK, this is less generous, but in keeping with my personal experience with people who make lists like this). Another is that if they did a carbon-per-unit-of-energy analysis they would most likely find that wind and photovoltaic are not nearly as attractive as they would like to believe.

The "Still No Repository" comment seems somewhat disingenuous given that the anti-nuclear spin machine has played an enormous part in ensuring that a Repository won't be operated in this country, and point in fact there is a Repository at Carlsbadand if they would allow it to open at Yucca mountain.

This is the way the anti-nuclear propagandists control the new media.
