Even it is very short notice! But I would really like to share this useful webinar with you!

The webinar provides an understanding of the theory, instrumentation and operation of nuclear radiation safety and details the principles of internal and external radiation protection. The presentation reviews alpha, beta and gamma ray interaction with matter; describes dosimetry principles and the exposure-dose relationship; explains dose from surface and skin contamination as well as submersion dose and volume sources; and discusses instrumentation for health physics. Information regarding organizations setting safety standards and online resources (ICRP, IAEA, ILO, ICRUM) is provided.
