[ RadSafe ] Airborne tritium question

This question came from a client. Its outside my area so any input would
be much appreciated.

The plant currently performs monthly air samples for particulates and
tritium in their nuclear sample room and near the spent fuel pit . It
doesn't appear to be in any of the technical guidance documents. (It might
be a legacy good practice, but that can't be confirmed either). Since
reactor water and the spent fuel pit have tritium, there is probably some
guidance somewhere. So, can anybody lead us to documented requirements for
routine sampling for particulates and/or tritium in the working areas of a
PWR?

Thanks in advance - -jmr
