RE: Airport X-ray Security Scanner
I did a "Google" search on "BodySearch" and came up with the following link:
http://www.nlectc.org/inthenews/newssummary/03181999.html#story5 ,which
claims "the X-ray exposure is equivalent to only 2 percent of daily exposure
from natural sources."
This link shows what appears to be an image generated by the machine:
http://www.corrections.com/news/productprofile/082399.html
I also found other links dating back to 1997 on the civil liberties aspects
of these machines.

Subject: Airport X-ray Security Scanner
An associate and friend of mine inquired as to the potential adverse health
affects associated with exposure to subject X-ray scanner. I was not
previously aware that such a system existed in the public domain for
irradiating traveling members of the general public. Information and/or
comments regarding this system (which is somewhat described in the hypertext
article) and any health/exposure related considerations for its use would be
appreciated.
BTW, I was somewhat amazed that no consideration was given to the radiation
exposure aspect of being "X-Rayed"; just the concern for invasion of
privacy.
