Americium dioxide
Does anyone know what the melting point of Americium dioxide is? Searches
of rubber handbook, www etc come up with nothing.
There even seems to be some question regarding the m.p. of Am metal: the
rubber handbook (my admittedly old 57th edn) gives 994 C but WebElements
(www.webelements.com) gives 1176 C.
I'd appreciate something more authoritative.
