Contamination of transport casks for spent nuclear fuel

Radsafers,

I am interested in the weeping phenomenon of casks for spent nuclear fuel. 
Does anyone know whether there are any illuminating
publications out there - in particular in relation to surface
chemistry? We previously had the weeping phenomena in Sweden
for some of our casks - especially for cobalt 60.
