Optimal Radiation. Is it a number?

Bob,

I can add to your picture more personal detail:
All levels HP specialists are lining up at the unemployment offices.
Today, it is a stick with two ends: On one end, we want that those levels to
be lifted up, to make our job easier, on another end, it is not in HPs
personal (job security) interest to have those levels higher. Very confusing,
isn't it?
Is the job retraining for some of us a possible future option?

How much of radiation is optimum, today? That much, how much a person is
willing to take +/- how much is giving by......government, army, boss,
ex-boyfriend, etc.

For many years many thousands of people were receiving different levels of
radiation dose. In each situation, there were part of known risk and unknown
risk. Each period of time has variable risk data. Before of sometime after
Becquerel's discovery of the radioactivity and Roentgen's X-rays discovery,
the known risk was zero. Probably, right after when Maria Skladovskaya-Curie
died from the cancer the known risk for the first time started moving up. So
we are now somewhere in the middle.

I my opinion, it will not be a some break thru "Eureka" and "they" all will
run to NPP nor there will be complete NPP or other nuclear installations
close down. It will be ups and downs story. Until on some day.... Radiation
will become more acceptable than unacceptable part of public life. When we
will cross this line? I do not think that anybody knows when. We just need to
work hard and smile.

Happy Thursday to Everyone!

Emil.

Why people have three different languages, writing, spoken and thinking?
Why can't we write what we'yal say and say what we all think?
