Contaminated Land UK best practice guidance

The SAFEGROUNDS Learning Network provides best practice guidance about
remediating contaminated land on nuclear and defence sites. SAFEGROUNDS is a
collaboration between nuclear liability holders and industry regulators,
contractors, and consultants. SAFEGROUNDS emerged from a feasibility study
for the Safety Issues Task Force (a UK Department of Trade and Industry
committee), which found that best practice guidance was needed, in different
forms and for different sectors of the nuclear industry, the regulators, and
the public. The guidance is continually updated in response to improvements
in standards and changes in legislation.
