Re[2]: Wart Removal
Grenz Ray units have a pretty small field (in physical size) if I am
remembering correctly. Since the 440RF/D has a rather large chamber it
would not be suitable for such measurements (the entire chamber needs to be
in a uniform field or you have to make appropriate corrections for a
nonuniform field). The medical physicist that calibrated our old Grenz Ray
unit used a very small condenser r-meter ion chamber with a thin window
that had been especially designed by Victoreen for this purpose. I suggest
that if you want to do accurate dosimetry you should consult with a medical
physicist who is familiar with this type of calibration.
