Martin,

I agree with you on that, it differs with different cancers and of course 
more work needs to be done.
The original statement was a general in nature.
My response statement was a general reflection of the POSITIVE abilities of 
different therapy methods as I know.
I had to add, I am an oncologist and I go with what I know at my level.
Thank you for pointing out from your perspective the nature of the problem.

 Radiation therapy is effective to differing degrees with different cancers,
 in many cases more so than chemo. However I think it is fair to say that
 there is quite a lot of work to be done before we can make the following
 assertion without a few qualifications!!
