It is not evenly distributed.  There is more in continental surface waters 
than in ocean waters and in the ocean it is mostly on the surface.  In the 
last few years it has been steadily decreasing as the bomb-produced tritium 
decays away.  My impression is that it is approaching the concentration that 
is produced naturally, that was mentioned in a previous message (200 - 900 
Bq/cubic meter)
