RE: Manhattan Project
I'm currently working a program for cleanup of old Manhattan Project
facilities called FUSRAP. We have 10+ sites in our district. To my
knowledge, there are no sites for Georgia present or past that have been
formally designated into the program. However, the initial
designation/evaluation is performed by DOE; we only clean them up. It is
possible a site in Georgia was evaluated under the program, but was not
designated as requiring further action. I've included the main FUSRAP
website below FYI.
