Bill,

We've used polyfoam smears soaked on a sponge saturated with
commercial-grade hydrogen peroxide.  Tha polyfoam smears dissolve
completely, just like the peanuts, in the LSC cocktail (the lab loves
that).  Supposedly, the H2O2 has a better transfer efficiency when wiping
nonsaturated surfaces.
