Southern California Chapter HPS Meeting Preliminary Notice

This is a preliminary meeting notice. 

Date:  April 11, 2000
Location: University of California - Irvine Campus

Afternoon Workshop (time TBA)

Dr. Jerry Cuttler, of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, will conduct a 
workshop on, "Resolving the Controversy over Beneficial Effects of 
Ionizing Radiation."  This will be based on a paper which Dr. Cuttler 
presented, last year, at the WONUC Conference on the Effects of Low 
and Very Low Doses of Ionizing Radiation on Health. (Thanks to Bill Lipton - I'm 
using his write-up on Dr. Cuttler's lecture)

The after-dinner speaker will be Paul Rohwer, President-Elect of the 
National Health Physics Society
