Re: Thai radiation victim: Frightened residents & cremation rite
This brought me to mind the same situation in Goiania to burry the two
first victims. In Goiania the situation was not so pacific due the
circumstances and I needed to be protected surrounded by the police, while
informing the population in the cemetery.
However, in Goiania, people were afraid due the contamination of the victims
that was not the case in Thailand. Lesson learned: Again (and still in the
future) population does not distinguish between external exposure and
contamination.
