RE: Depleted Uranium

Manufacturing Sciences Corporation(MSC)in Oak Ridge, Tennessee manufactures
products such as isotope shields, shipping casks, plate and foil from
depleted uranium, tungsten and other heavy metals. MSC also recycles
radioactive metals as well, and has recycled approximately 500,000 pounds of
DU from the DOE into useful products for government and industry.

Subject: Depleted Uranium

Hello Radsafers:

Can anyone suggest a source(s) that will receive our excess depleted
uranium. I know that Starmet Corporation will accept DU for recycling at
about $15 per pound. I am interested in any other options that might be
available.

Thanks, Tony S., RSO
