Article on the future of energy
In the Feb 2000 issue of "Physics Today" on the future fuels, the author, Jesse
H. Ausubel foresees the eventual use of hydrogen as a fuel. As for the source
of the hydrogen, he states: "Among the alternatives, including solar and
photovoltaic routes, nuclear energy fits the context best" as the "source for
the electricity for electrolysis and high-temperature heat for water splitting.
