Lorna,  my interest was piqued by your message.  We've been using Luxel badges
since last April and have had no important concerns about their use.  I've
noticed that there seems to be some building dependency on the appearance of
small positives, i.e., a greater percentage of personnel badges and area
monitor badges in one specific building are consistently more likely to have
doses of 1-4 mrem reported, than personnel badges and area monitor badges in
other buildings, even though considerably less radioisotope work is going on in
that building.  This would seem to suggest that background is higher in that
building than in others but we haven't definitively settled this question yet.
I'm very curious - have you seen unexpected results?
