Today's The Globe and Mail (Canadian national newspaper) features the
article about the AECL position.  Sorry, I could not locate the link.
In short, unofficially, the contract goes to Franco-German NPI.  AECL and
Westinghouse think to proceed with some steps, including legal ones, due to
some irregularities in the bidding process.

Has anyone heard anything about Turkey awarding the pending contract for
the Akkuyu reactor.  The selection has been narrowed to AECL and a German
consortium.
