My suggestion is for your friend to buy Fiestaware from eBay on the
internet.
Many of the dealers selling Fiesta on eBay also have pieces they can sell
privately, if your friend does not want to bid using the eBay auction site.

There are many Fiesta pieces for sale all the time. If you look at

you will see one such plate. The email address of the seller is also listed
and
that person can be contacted directly. This particular seller has several
plates
for sale at the moment.


Radsafers,

I looked at the Fiestaware plate for sale on eBay. I believe it is a NEW
plate with no radioactivity. I.e., it has no Uranium salt coloration. It is
only the old Fiestware that is "hot".

I have seen new, non-radioactive, Fiestaware in department stores like
Macy's, Stern's, etc.
