RE: Re[2]: Fiesta Ware and DU ammunition

All Fiestaware which is marked lead free is currently produced and contains
no heavy metals including Uranium. Not all current Fiesta is stamped lead
free. The red Fiestaware (which is really orange, but referred to as red by
collectors and Homer Laughlin) can contain natural Uranium (made from
1936-1943) or depleted Uranium (1959-1972). The ivory colored Fiesta
contains trace amounts of Uranium. There are other Homer Laughlin lines
along with other brands which contain Uranium, which can be obtained much
cheaper as Fiesta is extremely collectable. However most of the other
brands were only made prior to 1943 and therefore will be natural Uranium.
If anyone has any additional questions on Fiesta, please contact me
privately as I am not only a Health Physicist but a Fiestaholic.
