Whooping Cough treatment

Listers,

Can anyone in Radsafe land point me to a resource that discusses the
treating of Whooping Cough with xrays back in the 40/50's? I seem to recall
this has been discussed on the list before, so even a referral as to when
this occured so I can better search the archives would be helpful.
