Re: Scottish Beach Beside Nuclear Plant Contaminated, BBC Says



This is credible.  I remember a colloquium, circa 1977, where a British scientist at a
UK nuclear installation stated that high effluent levels were common knowledge.  He
stated that some scientists, as an informal experiment, used to go out for a meal of
local seafood, and then get whole body counted to see what turned up.

(But, of course, it's not our fault that the public doesn't accept nuclear technology.)
