In Massachusetts the requirement for monitoring has this
requirement:
120.226..
"Each licensee shall monitor exposures from sources of radiation
at levels sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the
occupational dose limits of 105 CMR 120.200. As a minimum
(a) Each licensee shall monitor occupational exposures to
radiation and shall supply and require the use of individual
monitoring devices by:
(4)Individuals WORKING medical fluoroscopy equipment.
So anyone who is "WORKING" such devices MUST BE monitored
regardless of the 10% criteria...
