'Applications Chemist' Position at Eichrom Technologies, Darien IL, USA
For over ten years Eichrom Technologies has been developing products that
provide solutions to complex technical problems. From its beginning in 1990
Eichrom commercialized breakthrough separations technologies developed at
Argonne National Laboratory and began providing revolutionary products to
analytical laboratories that enabled the efficient separation of nuclear
materials from solutions.
In order to ensure continued growth of our radiochemistry business, an
immediate opportunity exists to join our team in the position of
Applications Chemist. The candidate shall have responsibility for
maintaining relationships with customer laboratories throughout the United
States. This involves expanding the use of Eichrom's line of extraction
chromatographic resins and accessories. The candidate will also answer
inquiries concerning product performance in conjunction with wide-ranging
sample types and analytes. Additionally, the candidate will assist the
Director of Sales and Marketing - Analytical Products with organizing Users'
Group Meetings, newsletters and product introductions. Approximately 25%
travel should be expected.
Candidate shall posses a BS in Chemistry or related discipline. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills are essential. 2 years experience
working with extraction chromatographic materials or radiochemistry
laboratory experience is required. Technical sales experience to the
analytical laboratory market is a plus. US Citizenship is required.
