RE: DEXA Scans on Children

          We perform these types of scans both as clinical and research 
          procedures.  As you mentioned the radiation dose is small and our 
          RSC requires the research protocol's include a statement in the 
          informed consent regarding the radiation exposure (we use the BERT 
          methodology).
