RE: Oil explosion

Where are the calls for the abolition of the use of "deadly"
petrochemicals ?
What about the calls for the (endless) epidemiological
studies to determine the effects on down wind population centers from
carcinogenic combustion products ?
Where are the calls for studies for the effects on the
drinking water supplies for nearby families with babies ?

Were the playing field level, every refinery and every
transport company in the world would now be looking forward to intense
government inspection of their operations. And yet, these type of accidents
kill many people each year.
( not to mention the effects of day-to-day emissions , just
see Mexico city or Los Angeles )

Sorry, but I felt the need for a little venting.

ABUJA, Nigeria (AP) -- The charred corpses of 100 villagers
-- many of them
schoolchildren -- were found and many other people were
believed missing
after a damaged gasoline pipeline exploded in southern
Nigeria, witnesses
		said Tuesday.

		Mine and mine alone
