Re: Nuclear Power



One problem with such a study would be the large variability in the use of
individual hearing protection (personal protective equipment).  Another
problem would be the lack of individual dosimetry.  The noise levels change
significantly with location and workers seldom work in the same place
consistently.  A normally occupied location will often have noise levels
reduced by engineered controls rather than rely on continued use of PPE.
