Magnetic Tape

Hi

I would like to know what damage can be done to a magnetic tape in a radiation (excluding natural background) field.  I am specifically looking for the energies (if applicable), the type of radiation (X, gamma, beta etc) and the dose/dose rate at which the damage may occur.

I could not find it in any textbook to my disposal, so even a reference will do.
