That is apparently the anti nuclear people's position. If one considers the real deaths from electricity produced by coal fired plants (real mine deaths, transportation deaths, deaths from effluents and waste from coal plants, etc.) vs the hypothetical deaths from a nuclear power plant accident or from normal operation effluents, it is
clear that the hypothetical deaths carry a greater weight, not only with the antis but with the public as well. Why this is so is left to the psychologists to explain. Al Tschaeche antatnsu@pacbell.net
