Re: "Typical" radioisotopes

Jim, Dave, Scot and all,

Indeed, an impressive list Dave! A few more additions to the list of
isotopes used at "full service" medical centers:

1) Nuc Med (therapies)
P-32 (polycythemia vera, synovitis)
Y-90 (metastatic breast cancer, in monoclonal antibody protocols)
Ho-166 (multiple myeloma - clinical trials in conjunction with peripheral
blood stem cell transplantation)

2) Nuc Med (diagnostic applications)
In addition to F-18, other PET cyclotron produced isotopes: C-11, N-13,
O-15,
Also, a generator produced Rubidium-82 (myocardium studies)

3) Rad Therapy (sealed sources)
Co-60 (still some around)

A couple additions to Dave's excellent list:

Hospital:	Gd-153 (in Quadramet, a replacement for Sr-89 palliative
bone therapy)
		F-18 (a "long-half-life" positron emitter, as FDG)
Rad Therapy:Pd-103 (prostate implants, seeds)
