RE: I-131 MDA in vivo
Assuming that you're using a 2x2" NaI probe, in an ANSI clinical setup (of
which I cannot for the life of me find the number or title), your absolute
efficiency might be ~1700 cpm/uCi. Let's further assume that your
background, for a one-minute count, is 49 counts. A one-minute count would
then give you an MDA of 0.019 uCi (19 nCi), using the methodology of HASL-300.
