RE: How Stuff Works




Thanks for the tip... as you say, its mostly quite good.

I was curious how they present the nuclear bomb. 
Their animation is very nicely done ( interactive features, at
http://www.howstuffworks.com/nuclear-bomb5.htm  ), but the implosion version
is completely incorrect. 
Guess I should send them a copy of my own little animation (intended
specifically to illustrate the principle of functioning/malfunction, if not
the exact details of any particular device). It could use a bit of computer
finesse to reduce the file size....
