Radsafers,
Is anyone aware of a protocol for determining I-131 uptakes using
urinalysis?  I've never heard of this myself, but an I-131 user is asking to
do this because they do not have access to a NaI detection system.

NUREG/CR-4884, "Interpretation of Bioassay Measurements," provides examples
of the evaluation of both ingestion and inhalation of I-131 using urine
activity. (pages A-6 through A-10).
