Bernie,

As I have stated many times, and I firmly believe, is that there is 
no process available to us at this time that will facilitate the 
public's understanding, or the acceptance of, the nuclear option. The 
current population is lost, and we must focus on the next and the 
next. Of course, that will be inevitably too late to save, let alone 
resurrect an option that is intentionally being led down the "Green 
Mile".

A good book, Petr Beckman's, The Health Hazards of NOT Going Nuclear, 
The Golem Press, 1976.
