Thanks for a useful comment on other factors (than radiation) involved in
the compensation question. I agree we must all concede the possibility of
chemcial damage and inadequacy of management response to worker complaints.
Every time I complain about DOE statements on "radiation-induced cancers," I
specifically concede that point.
But that shouldn't be allowed to detract from the necessity of people
knowledgeable in radiation pointing out loud and clear that there is NO
credible evidence that low-dose radiation has harmed anyone, and that there
is clear evidence that it has NOT.
Reluctance to make that point loud, clear and often leads people to believe,
reasonably, that LDR is harming people.
