Also note that dentists use high-intensity UV to cure the new adhesives
used in crowns and fillings. It seems that there may be a risk to the
dentist who uses this regularly if he does not wear appropriate eye
protection, but I wonder if gum tissue might be highly sensitive to UV
as well.
