Re: Radium on watch dials



I'm wearing a 55 year old watch (brand to remain nameless) which 
has a radium dial. Many years ago I put TLDs on the bottom and 
the top to determine the exposure. If I recall correctly, the top was 
about 1.5 mr/hr and the bottom was about 0.5 mr/hr.

Nothing to worry about, in my particular instance. I've been wearing 
the watch for about 15 years now. My wrist is still intact, and no,,, 
no reddening of the skin either!
