Re: Sr-90 questions
Here at NASA-Goddard our researchers used a strong Sr-90 source to produce "damage" to glass to simulate radiation damage over long durations of space flight. Also, another group was using a similar source to determine if beta particle damage can occur to imaging detectors. New and exciting work here.
