Re: Modified night-vision goggles show up radioactive spills
DOE has had demonstrations of a similar imaging technology at Oak Ridge
for a number of years now (each year it the equipment is smaller and
more effective). I think they are using a photographic system, and I
don't recall what they use to stimulate the alpha-emitters, but the
general principle is the same. Seems like the two groups should get
together on this.
