Global warming is not caused by heat released from electricity generation or
heat lost in converting it to mechanical power. If it exists and is real, it
would be a complicated effect caused by the carbon dioxide in the
atmosphere, which prevents heat generated on the earth mostly by the sun to
dissipate from it. The ozone layer plays an important role.
There are others, much more competent than I, who could go into details, but
one thing is for sure, that global warming should not be confused with the
socalled "entropy death" of the world, which is millions, billions and more
years ahead.
