The Majority - for now

Excerpt from a Washington Post Article:

"The switch in control of the Senate last week made Sen. Harry M. Reid

(D-Nev.) a major power, and the new majority leader, Thomas A. Daschle

(D-S.D.), said, "As long as we're in the majority, [Yucca Mountain] is

dead.""

Far be it from me to suggest radical action };-) but what are the major

consumer products that Nevada and South Dakota supply to the rest of the

nation?

Political pressure comes in more than one 'flavor'.

I read a similar concept in a fiction story where space proponents boycotted

Wisconsin cheese until the voters decided Proxmire's re-election was not in

their best interests.
