Ontario bars coal burning at power plant

On June 13, the smog was so thick in the city of Toronto that people

couldn't see the giant landmark CN Tower. The emergency rooms were packed

with people having trouble breathing. Seniors and children were warned not

to go outside. 

One of the main culprits, legislators and environmentalists say, is the

Lakeview Generating Station, a large coal-fired electricity generating plant

in Mississauga.
