Health Physicist I [Req #15898]
This position will be responsible for creating, modifying, implementing, and
maintaining radiation safety programs and policies (e.g., Radiation
Training, Radiation Survey Program, Radioactive Waste Management, Personnel
Dosimetry Program, etc.) Represents the company on all radiation safety
issues and ensures complete compliance with all federal, state, and local
regulations, including on-site inspections by outside agencies. The ideal
candidate will have a B.S. in Health Physics or related discipline and a
minimum of 1-year experience in operational health physics. The ability to
train on first shift and work on 2nd shift is desired. Good oral and written
communication skills along with proficient computer skills especially
spreadsheets and database programs. This position will be eligible for a 2nd
shift (10%) premium.
Technician Health Physics II [Req # 15932]
This position will be responsible for providing technical support for
activities related to provide safe working environment with the use of
radioactive material. This will include shipping, receiving, record
keeping, documentation, training, equipment maintenance, calibration, and
radioactive waste management. The preferred candidate will have an AA
degree or equivalent work experience plus 2 years of operational health
physics technician experience. The ability to train on first shift and work
on 2nd shift is desired. Good oral and written communication skills along
with proficient computer skills especially spreadsheets and database
programs. This position will be eligible for a 2nd shift (10%) premium.
