Licensing Problems of the New Part 35

Dear Radsafers:



At the Society of Nuclear Medicine Annual Meeting in Toronto in June, 2001,

there was a session on the new 10 CFR Part 35.  Ron Zelac of NRC, who spoke

at the session, was surprised by my allegation that the licensing does not

follow the rule.  He asked me to send a letter documenting my comments.



Anyone wishing a copy of the letter (6 pages) can get it from me by sending

me an e-mail with "Zelac" in the body.
