Sr.Health Physicist- - The Environmental Survey & Site Assessment Program of

the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, operated by Oak Ridge

Associated Universities, under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy,

is seeking a Sr. HP in Oak Ridge, TN to provide professional HP technical

support and management of DOE support projects. Duties will include: working

with clients to determine project scope, budget & objectives; conducting

investigational studies; recommending and implementing procedures and

protocols to acieve objectives; preparing reports; and designing and

presenting appropriate training.

Requirements: M.S. degree in Health Physics or equivalent and 8-10 yrs. of

related experience. Certification by ABHP highly desireable. Thorough HP

knowledge, ability to apply rad protection practices to new situations, and

perform analyses of HP issues necessary. Must possess strong verbal/written

communication skills & have ability to conduct long-term planning and

execute new tasks. Experience in related HP areas such ALARA analyses, dose

assessments, instrumentation, rad surveys & assessments, report preparation

and project design & implementation required.
